4. Install the Seat
Place the screws through the hinges. Slide a rubber pad over each
screw on the underside of the hinges.
Slide the right and left hinges with the pads and screws into the
seat post holes. When you are looking from the front of the toilet,
the hinge bushings should face toward each other and the
bushings should slant toward the back of the toilet.
NOTE:
If the right and left hinges are reversed, the seat and cover
will not rotate correctly.
Attach the hinge screw nuts by accessing the underside of the
seat post holes through the tank. Turn the hinge screw nuts three
or four turns.
Align the brackets of the toilet seat ring and cover. Align the seat
ring and cover over the hinges and bushings. Slide the bushings
from the outside through the seat and cover brackets.
Tighten the hinges with a screwdriver.
