1. Preparation
NOTE:
You may require different, more specialized tools to install
this sink to countertop materials other than wood or wood
composites.
Measure the thickness of the countertop.
Determine the threaded shank length of the faucet.
Compare the measurements to verify that the faucet will fit on
the countertop as required. If the faucet will not fit, you will need
to select a different faucet or countertop.
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the
roughing-in information.
Cut along the dotted line on the template, taking care to cut
accurately. This is the outside profile of the sink.
Determine the exact installation location of the sink using the
template.
Use tape to secure the template in place in the desired installation
location.
Carefully cut through the countertop with a jigsaw or keyhole
saw following the inside solid line on the template. Take special
care when cutting out the corners.
