1. Remove screw securing oil ﬁ lter housing and

individual O-rings to crankcase. Carefully separate

parts.

Perform following only if oil ﬁ lter housing assembly

requires individual servicing.

a. Remove nipple from cup and oil ﬁ lter housing.

b. Remove oil ﬁ lter cup and spring from housing.

c. Remove rubber valve and spring from cup.
