4.2 MACHINE COMPONENTS

The Kodiak KD Portable Generator series
consists two models of generators. The KD5000D
features a 4.9kVa alternator driven by 349cc Koh-
ler diesel engine. The KD7300D includes a 6.8
kVa alternator and 416 cc Kubota diesel engine.
KD generators feature an electronic "Power Moni-
tor". (see Power Monitor section)
All control and power outlets are mounted on the
end of the frame for convenient access and opera-
tion.
The unit is designed to provide electrical power
for work or home or provide power at a remote
location. Each outlet is designed with a circuit
breaker to protect against overload. The machine
is neutral bonded to the frame. The battery and
fuel tank are mounted in the frame for convenient
access.
