IMPORTANT: 

Always follow the Shutdown Instructions (see page 8) before working on 

the unit or the accessories. Always discharge residual pressure and turn the engine OFF.

Fill gas tank. 

Add oil

Position throttle 1/3 of the way 
towards FAST position.

Pull choke rod to CLOSED position 
for cold engine.

Press gun trigger to discharge 
residual pressure (see page 8).

Engine running, but  

Water supply is restricted.

Worn or broken engine key. 

 

Diameter of garden hose

Check that hoses and fittings are airtight. 

Turn off machine and purge pump by 
squeezing gun trigger until a steady flow 
of water emerges through the nozzle.

Remove screen and clean (see Page 10).

Clean nozzle (see Page 9).

Run distilled vinegar through machine.

Check for leaks downstream of the unloader
valve. If no leaks, unloader may have to be 
serviced.

Troubleshooting
