Error 28-551: PROCESSOR HEATER Failure

Messages

Description

This error occurs if any PROCESSOR RTD indicates that the temperature is not increasing at 
the expected rate. The log file will list the RTD. The error is cleared when power is cycled on 
the IMAGER.

Result of Error

The PRINTER cannot print films. The SPOOLER is able to receive and queue jobs but new 
films will not be initiated. Films downstream of the subsystem will be completed. All other 
films will be reprinted.

User Action

1

Restart the LASER IMAGER from the LOCAL PANEL.

2

If the error occurs again, call Service.

FE Action

Do the actions below in sequence. If an action provides a resolution, do not continue with the 
other actions.

De-energize then energize the LASER IMAGER.
