To set the focus selection:
1. Turn the camera on and ensure that it is in Photo mode.
2. Press the menu button.
3. Use the joystick to highlight the FOCUS SEL. option.
4. Use the joystick to select center , left ,right
top ,or bottom .
5. Press the menu button again to leave the menu.
4.1.8 Exposure adjustment (EV)
Use the exposure, EV setting to change the exposure for your
pictures. Usually this value would be set to zero, but you might
want to increase the exposure to light up a subject with strong
back lighting, or decrease the exposure if taking a picture of
something very bright.
To set EV:
1. Turn the camera on and ensure that it is in Photo mode.
2. Press the menu button.
3. Use the joystick to highlight the EV option.
4. Use the joystick to move the slider up and down the scale.
5. Press the menu button again to leave the menu.

4.1.9 ISO adjustment
The ISO value is equivalent to the film speed setting on film
cameras. In bright conditions you would need a low ISO film.
Correspondingly, in low light conditions a high ISO is prefera-
ble. When set to automatic, the camera sets the ISO value auto-
matically.
