OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FASTENER DRIvE DEPTH
• The fastener drive depth can be adjusted. Test the depth on a scrap workpiece to determine the
required depth for the application.
• To determine drive depth, first adjust the air pressure and drive a test fastener.
Setting The Air Pressure
• The amount of air pressure required will depend on the size of the fastener and the workpiece
material.
• Before starting a job, test drive depth by driving a test fastener into the same type of workpiece
material being used for the actual job.
• Drive a test fastener with the air pressure set at 90-95 PSI. Raise or lower the air pressure to find
the lowest setting that will perform the job with consistent results.
• It may be possible to achieve desired drive depth by only adjusting air pressure. If finer adjustments
are needed, use the drive depth adjustment (A) on the tool.
Drive Depth Adjustment
• If desired drive depth is not acheived after setting the air pressure, use the drive depth
adjustment (A) on the tool.
1. Disconnect tool from air supply (not included). Turn drive
depth adjustment (A) left or right to change the driving
depth.
2. Reconnect tool to air supply (not included). Drive a
test fastener after each adjustment until the desired
depth is set.
