OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
To Attach Battery Pack
a. Align the raised portion on the battery pack
with the grooves on the bottom of the tool, then
slide the battery pack onto the tool, as shown.
b. Make sure that the latches on the battery pack
snap into place and the battery pack is secured
to the tool before beginning operation.
NOTICE:
When placing the battery pack on the
tool, be sure that the raised rib on the battery pack
aligns with the groove on the tool and the latches
snap into place properly. Improper assembly of
the battery pack can cause damage to internal
components.
To Detach Battery Pack
a. Press the battery-release buttons to release the battery pack.
b. Pull backward on the battery pack to remove it from the tool.
WARNING
• Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, always remove the battery pack
when the tool is not in use or when carrying the polisher at your side.
2.
Variable-speed Trigger Switch
a. To turn the polisher ON, press the variable-
speed trigger switch (A).
b. To turn it OFF, release the variable-speed
trigger switch.
The trigger switch delivers higher speed with
increased trigger pressure and lower speed with
decreased trigger pressure.
Lock-on Button
This tool is equipped with a lock-on button (B),
which is convenient for continuous polishing for
extended periods of time.
a. To polish continuously, press and hold the
trigger switch (A) and then press the lock-on button. Release the trigger switch.
b. To unlock the lock-on button and stop continuous polishing, press the trigger switch.
