OVERRIDE FACILITY
INITIAL PIR SETUP
The unit may be used for a constant light source.
To override the PIR, switch the power to the light on and off twice in fast repetition, on the second
ignition the light should remain on constant and the PIR will become ineffective. To return to PIR
mode turn the power off and wait a minimum of 2 minutes before switching on again, the unit will
then return to initial PIR response.
For optimum use of all its features, including manual override, we suggest wiring using the PIR
floodlight in conjunction with a single pole wall switch.
The unit has 3 controls
Lux (ambient light sensitivity) 10- 2000lux
Time delay: 10 sec - 7 minutes
Sensitivity or range adjustment: 2m – 7m max.
The range of detection is 180 degrees
(subject to installation)
If testing during daylight ensure lux control is set
to maximum. For night testing ensure lux control
is set to low.
The optimum height for installation is 2.5m.
Sensitivity and range will be limited and
subject to change depending on installation
and the characteristics of the area in which it is
operating.
WARRANTY
This product has a warranty of 3 years from date of purchase. Failure to install this product in
accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring regulations, improper use or removal of the
batch codes will invalidate the warranty. If this product should fail within its warranty period it should
be returned to the place of purchase for a free of charge replacement. ML Accessories does not
accept responsibility for any installation costs associated with the replacement product.
Your statutory rights are not affected. ML Accessories reserve the right to alter product specification
without prior notice.
