• Using the bracket as a template, mark the location of the fixing holes. Drill the holes for the fixings
ensuring not to infringe with any joists, gas / water pipes or electrical cables that may be hidden
behind the surface. Important: subject to the surface foundation material, ensure the correct
fixings are used
• Fix the bracket to the mounting surface
• Reattach the fitting to the wall bracket ensuring the washers are in the correct order
• These luminaires are pre-wired with approximately 500mm of 3 core mains flexible cable
Opening and tampering with internal connections will invalidate any warranty
• If installed outside, the mains cable should be connected into a suitable IP rated junction box.
Connect the mains cable to the terminal block ensuring there are no exposed conductors or trapped
insulation and observing correct polarity (see below)
BROWN – LIVE, BLUE – NEUTRAL, GREEN/YELLOW – EARTH
• Switch the power supply on and test for correct operation

PIR
• The LED lamps fitted in this product are non-replaceable. The product should be recycled in the
correct manner when it reaches the end of its life.
• Clean with a soft dry cloth only, do not use aggressive cleaning products or solvents which may
damage the product
Before choosing a mounting point please note the following:
PIR sensors are activated and more responsive to sources crossing their paths rather than
approaching them directly.
Avoid positioning the PIR sensor facing trees or shrubbery as well as bright lights and sources of
heat or moving traffic, swinging objects etc.
Avoid positioning where the sensor will be in direct sunlight as this may disturb the sensitivity of the
sensor.
Air temperature and weather changes can affect the sensor and adjustments may be required from
time to time
