Using the hot plate

Never cook the food itself directly on the hot plate

without using pots or containers.

Hot plate has 3 positions:

symbol means closed and each of the 1-2-3 positions means

different power levels. Total power of the hot plate is 1500 watt. The 1

st

 level is 350w and used

for heating, the 2

nd

level is 1100w and used for cooking and the 3

rd

level is 1500w and used for

boiling.

It is necessary that you operate the hot plate by switching it to position 3 (maximum) and

keeping it on for 10-15 minutes without any pots or pans on it, before using it for the first time.
This process ensures that the material on the hot plate burns and hardens. It may emit a slight

smoke and smell during the initial operation. This is a temporary situation. Furthermore, a slight
color change will occur in the bright ring of the hot plate.

Make sure that the surface of the hot plate contacts with the bottom of your pot. Use flat-bottom
pots; in this way you will use the energy more efficiently. You can wipe the surface of the hot

plate with a damp cloth and you can use detergent. But never scrape the surface with sharp and
scratching materials.

Using the hot plate

When the fluid in your pot starts to boil, adjust the desired temperature level. Remember that

the hot plate will keep diffusing heat for a few minutes even after the power is switched off.

Please keep in mind the following points when using the hot plate:

*Never use the hot plate without any suitable container under any conditions
whatsoever.

*Use of inappropriate utensils may lead to a fire especially when cooking for a long
time.

*When the hot plate is hot, take all measures to avoid any spills onto it.
*Use flat-bottom pots with a suitable diameter to cover the entire surface of the hot plate.
