Gas connection
Connect the appliance with the gas pipe as per the laws in force and only after you properly
complete the adjustments intended and required for such a gas-operated appliance. Otherwise,
perform the actions given in the paragraph of “replacing the injectors”. To operate the appliance
with liquid gas, use pressure regulators in accordance with the laws in force.
To ensure a tight connection to the gas pipe, place the gasket supplied with the
product in its place. You are supposed to abide by the other rules in force
concerning gas installation. Check with soapy water whether there is a leakage
after completing the connection.
Ventilation of the places
The use of a gas cooking appliance involves the production of heat and humidity in the room in
which it is installed. Make sure that the kitchen is well ventilated; keep the natural aeration
openings open or install a forced aeration device (ventilation hood). Intense and prolonged use of
the appliance may require supplementary ventilation, for example by opening a window or a more
effective aeration such as by increasing the hood speed for example.
Burning the hob
Apply the following in order to access where the functional parts are contained: •remove the pan
supports, caps, burner rings;• dismantle the knobs by removing their shafts; • remove the screws
securing the burners;• pull upwards.
Electrical Connection
The hob in use is equipped with a power cable that has three poles and a free terminal. If the hob
shall remain connected to the mains permanently, install a circuit breaker designed with contact
distances that would allow cutting out the current completely in cases such as heavy-voltage
category III.
Check the following:
a) Plug and wall outlet should comply with 16A current;
b) it should be easily accessible and it should be placed in such a way that no electrical parts are
accessible during the plugging or unplugging of the same plug;
c) Plug shall be removable without any difficulty;
d) If the hob is built into furniture, no pressure should be applied onto the plug when it is plugged
in.
