1. The battery is supplied partially charged. We recommend that you charge it
fully before first use! To do so, unpack the battery (cardboard and electro-
static protective cover) and connect the small plug on the charger to the
battery port. Then plug the charger mains plug into a mains socket (230 V).
The LED indicator lights red during charging.
2. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator on the charger lights
green. The battery can then be disconnected from the charger. The charging
time depends on the charge level of the battery and can take up to 4.5 hours.
3. Plug the charged battery (1) into the battery retainer (2) on the right-hand
side of the chair. Your Klimastuhl is now ready to use.

4. Use the front switch (3) to select the required mode: heating or ventilation.
When the rocker switch is in the central position, the system is switched off.
5. NOTE: the system is only activated when there is pressure on the seat. When
the pressure is removed, the system switches off (energy saver mode). As
soon as you sit back down again, the mode set previously is activated again.
This seat occupancy function saves you up to 50% electricity.
6. The heating mode is signalled by a red LED and the ventilation mode by a blue
LED.
7. To adjust the power of the heating or ventilation, select the level of heat or air-
flow using the switch at the back (4). Level I = low heat output up to a surface
temperature of approx. 35°C or half-power airflow. Level II = high heat output
up to approx. 37°C with integral quick-heat programme, or full-power airflow.
8. Set on Level II, your Klimastuhl runs for approx. 8.5 hours heating and
19 hours ventilation. These times can be approximately doubled on Level I.
9. When the battery is flat, the LED indicator on the switch (3) goes out.
To check the charge status of the battery, press the test button for approx.
2 sec. You can determine the charge status from the colour (green, yellow,
red) using the table.
