V. Advanced operation

Pairing the speaker with wireless devices

Always ensure that the speaker unit is the last thing to power-up, and the first thing to turn off when

operating your complete system.

Note:

Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in

Bluetooth

®

 feature

available. If your device is not

Bluetooth

®

-enabled, you must purchase a

Bluetooth

®

 dongle, preferably

version V.3.0 or above.

Make sure that the power switch on the speaker is set to

ON

.

Enable the

Bluetooth

®

feature on your audio device and set it to discover the wireless speaker.

Remember to place your wireless device and the speaker not more than one meter away from each other.

Next, cycle to the

Bluetooth

®

feature on the speaker by pressing the

MODE

button found on the main unit or

the remote control. The

Bluetooth

®

symbol starts blinking fast on the display to indicate that the speaker has

entered into the pairing mode.

Once the speaker appears listed under the newly found

Bluetooth

®

devices (

KLS-875

) of your wireless device, it

will ask if you want to pair with it.

Accept by pressing

Yes

 or

Ok

. If you have a lower

 Bluetooth

®

version, you may be prompted to enter the

passkey

0000

 (4 zeros).

When pairing is successful, the

Bluetooth

®

symbol stops blinking and appears steady on the display.

If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 described above.

You can now start streaming audio through the speaker wirelessly from your favorite

Bluetooh

®

-enabled devices.

VI. Troubleshooting

If the sound is distorted:

try lowering the volume control of your sound source or musical instrument. Also,

try to reduce the overall volume of the speaker.

If there is too much bass:

try adjusting the tone or EQ control from speaker or your sound source to lower

the bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder before clipping (distortion) occurs.

If there is a high-pitched whistling noise when using a microphone:

this is probably feedback. Point the

microphone away from the speaker.

If you can’t hear the microphone over the music volume:

turn down the music volume from your source.

When PREV or NEXT fails to tune to the next radio station:

 press the

MODE

 button to tuner. Press the

button to automatically tune a station. Press PREV to tune to the previous station, press NEXT to tune to

the next station.

If the radio station channel is flashing:

the unit is currently muted. Unmute to stop the LED from flashing

and resume playback.

If the

b

LUE

 icon blinks fast:

it means that the unit is currently in

Bluetooth

®

pairing mode.

If the

b

LUE

 icon blinks slowly:

 the

Bluetooth

®

music playback is muted. Unmute to resume playback.

The USB track # (example: 001) blinks slowly:

the USB drive music playback is muted. Unmute to stop the

track indication from flashing and resume playback.

Warning:

This is an extremely powerful loudspeaker capable of generating sound pressure levels (SPL)

sufficient to cause permanent hearing damage to anyone within normal coverage distance. Exercise caution

to avoid prolonged exposure in excess of 90dB.
