Connection to the power supply has to be carried out by an authorised qualified person
according to the valid regulation and standards.

The whole ventilation installation should have correctly executed installation to lead the
electrostatic charges away. The connections of the ventilation conduits should have
electrostatic connections made of copper cable of
section S = 4 mm².

Check if the metal conduits are correctly grounded. Additionally, important is to make
grounding of the motor housing, by connecting with the protective cable between the clamp
on the motor housing and the grounding.
6.2 Safety check before the start up:

Examine if all the mechanical connections are performed correctly,

Examine the connection correctness of the electrical connections, phases sequence

Check the correctness of the connection between the motor and the PE protective cable.
After the start up of the motor, check the impeller rotation sense which should match the
arrow on the housing.

The motor overload protection ought to have such time-current characteristic providing
proper function even while the motor is disconnected from the supply voltage for the
shorter time than specified for it

”, and at current that equals the starting current.
The fan is delivered in a package but with detached silencer. Prior to installing in the place of
operation, fasten the silencer at the fan outlet. The silencer has to be mounted by means of
the enclosed mounting bolts.
