10.3.7.
Insert JL-203 Mounting Strap over JK-201 and middle crossmember; it is easiest to slide Strap over
crossmember near driveshaft, then position it over correct mounting holes. Reference Figure 11 above.
10.3.8.
Attach JL-203 strap over crossmember to
hole “D”, as shown in
#6, #14, #20, and #10; hand tighten.
NOTE:
If Air Tank interferes/contacts square neck bolt #6, then reverse bolt so nut is above
bracket (i.e., opposite of figure 15 shown)
10.3.9.
Attach final JL-
203 Mounting Strap bolt to hole “E”, as shown in
10.3.10.
Firmly tighten all fasteners in following order; reference

Tighten
hardware “E” to 11
-13 ft-lbs
7.
Tighten hardware “D” to 18
-21 ft-lbs
8.
Tighten QTY (2) M12 bolts connecting JL-204 to rear crossmember to 25-30 ft-lbs
9.
Tighten QTY (3) square neck
bolts “A” to 18
-21 ft-lbs
10.
Tighten ground strap nut
“B” to 75
-88 in-lbs
11.
Tighten
hardware “C” to 30
-36 in-lbs
10.4.
Air Tank to Tank Bracket Installation
10.4.1.
Pull Air Tank Straps away as necessary and lift Air tank into position, with drain facing downwards and
towards rear of vehicle, as shown in Figure 20 below.
10.4.2.
Position Air tank so it is centered within JK-202 straps; adjust as necessary to ensure clearance between
drain port and rear Tank Strap
of at least 1/8”, as shown in Figure 20 below.
10.4.3.
While holding Air Tank in place, use remaining
#1 (2), #11 (2) & #18 (2), to secure Air Tank to
Tank Bracket. Final tighten
1/4”
-20 fasteners, as shown circled in Figure 20 below to 37-43 in-lbs.
