TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Repairs to the appliance and work on the
electrical components may only be carried out by a qualified specialist
company! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
The appliance has been checked for proper functioning several times during production.
If malfunctions occur nonetheless check the appliance according to the following points:

Solution approach
The appliance does not
start.
Check the power connection.
Check the power cable and mains plug for damages.
Check the on-site fusing.
The appliance has
automatically switched
itself off:
Keep the air inlet clear to prevent the motor from
overheating.
Check whether the overheating protection has tripped
(see section “Operation“).
The appliance works with
reduced or no capacity.
Check the position of the horizontal ventilation flaps.
They should be opened to the maximum.
Check the air filter for dirt. If necessary, clean or
replace the air filter.
Check the minimum distance to walls or other objects
Position the appliance a little more in the rooms centre
if required.
