SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General instructions
• This appliance can be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and/or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
• The appliance is not a toy.
• Only allow children to carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the
appliance under supervision.
• Do not connect the unit to a multiple socket under any circumstances, as this
may cause a fire hazard.
• Unplug the appliance from the power socket before cleaning it, otherwise you
may experience an electric shock.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the
after-sales service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
• Do not clean the appliance with water as this could result in an electric shock
hazard.
• Never spray water into the indoor air conditioner. This could cause an electric
shock or a malfunction of the unit.
• After removing the filter, do not touch the fins of the appliance as this may
cause injury.
• Never use fire or a hair dryer to dry the filter after cleaning, as this could deform
it or cause a fire hazard.
• Maintenance must be carried out by personnel qualified to do so, otherwise
damage to property and/or personal injury may occur.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself as this may result in a risk of electric
shock or damage to the unit. Contact the after-sales service if the appliance
needs to be repaired.
• Never insert your fingers or other foreign objects into the air inlets and
outlets, as this could cause damage to property and/or personal injury.
• Do not block the air inlets and outlets under any circumstances, as this could
cause malfunctions.
• Never spill water on the remote control as this could damage it.
• If the air conditioner is used under abnormal conditions, it may cause
malfunction, electric shock or fire hazard.
• When you switch the unit on or off by pressing the emergency button, press it
with a well-insulated object and never with a metallic object.
