Indicator lights
•
The “Child Lock” light indicates that the appliance is locked.
•
The “Drying” light light indicates that the appliance is in the drying phase.
•
The “Cooling” light indicates that the appliance is in the cooling phase. At the end of drying, there
is a 10 minutes cooling phase to cool the laundry.
•
The “End” light is on during the anti-creasing phase after the cooling phase.
Select the Start/Pause
Press this button to start the dryer after having selected the programme an the options. If the door
of the appliance is opened while the programme is running, this button must be pressed again after
closing the door in order to restart the programme from the point at which it was interrupted. In
this case the light of the Start/Pause button fl ashes to remind you that the start button needs to be
pressed again.
At the end of the programme
• All drying programs end with 10 minutes cooling phase. If the laundry is not removed at the end
of the cycle, the dryer performs an anti-creasing phase (duration: 30 minutes maximum).
•
If you do not remove the laundry, the machine will stop automatically at the end of the anti-cre-
asing phase. The display shows „End“ and the buzzer sounds for 15 seconds if you have selected
the buzzer.
•
Turn the program selector dial to O, all the lights go off.
„Child Lock“ funktions
•
When the machine is on, press meantime „Delicate“ ans „Delay start“ button for several seconds,
the system will lock all the buttons. Then all buttons are invalid.
•
If you want to make the appliance to return the normal state, then press „Delicate“ ans „Delay
start“ button for several seconds meantime again.
•
The function will release in the followring cases: open door during operation, take out condenser
during operation and full watertank.
After each use
•
Remoce the power plug
•
Water container emptied
•
Clean lint trap
WARNING
If the drying programme has to be stopped before it reaches the end, fi rst turn the dial to O
and then to „Air Dry“ and depress the Start button. Wait until the end of this cooling phase
before removing the laundry. This will avoid a built-up of heat inside the appliance.
Drying tips
•
Always follow the instructions on garment labels:
may be tumble dried
normal drying (high temperature)
delicate drying (low temperature)
do not tumble dry
•
Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing an saves energy.
• Avoid drying dark clothes with light colored fl uffy items such as towels as they could attract fl uff
•
To avoid a static charge when drying is completed, use either a fabric softener when are washing
the laundry or fabric conditioner specifi cally for tumble dryers.
• If individual items are still damp after drying, set a brief post-drying time, but at least 30 minutes.
This will be necessary particularly for multilayer items (e.g. collars, pockets, etc.).
