Using the dishwasher
3.3 Set up the water softener
The water softener must be set manually, using the water
hardness dial. The water softener is designed to remove mine-
rals and salts from the water, which would have a detrimental
or adverse effect on the operation of the appliance. The higher
the content of these
minerals and salts, the harder the water is. The softener
should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in
your area. Your local water authority can advise you on the
hardness of the water in your area.
• Open the door and switch
on
the appliance.
• Press the
P-
button to get into the control mode for water
softener (60 seconds).
• Navigate
to the desired value by pressing the P-button keys
more times.
Important Information
The next refilling of salt in a dishwasher refilling of 500 ml of wa-
ter in the reservoir of the water softener is not necessary.
