If the extractor hood has been itted at 

the factory with a carbon ilter, this must 

be removed. It is only practicable to use 

this when operating your hood in circu-

lation mode.

.  Converting the extractor 

hood to a circulation hood

If you wish to use an appropriately itted 

hood  as  a  circulation  hood,  you  must 

mount  the  active  carbon  ilter s   to  the 

fan motor before using the hood. The ac-

tive carbon ilter s  is/are included in the

scope  of  supply  with  some  models. 

Otherwise  you  must  obtain  the  active 

carbon ilter s  from the supplier of your 

extractor  hood.  )ou  must  also  change 

your hood over to the „’ilter position“ at 

the device provided  lever or ball hand-

le .

.  Electrical connection

Before  connecting  the  extractor  hood, 

check that the voltage stated on the ra-

ting plate  V  agrees with the supply vol-

tage in your home.

If the appliance is not itted with a con-

nector  plug,  a  two-pole  switch,  confor-

ming to standards with a minimum open 

contact gap of   mm is to be installed by 

an authorized tradesman in an easily ac-

cessible location.

.  Mounting the carbon ilter

)ou  will  ind  the  mounting  instructions 

for the carbon ilter in its packaging. To 

mount the carbon ilter, remove the gre-

ase ilter s , it the carbon ilter according 

to its mounting instructions and reit the

grease ilter s .

Installation

!

Never  install  the  appliance  if  the  data 

on the rating plate does not agree with 

your supply voltage.

)ou will ind the rating plate inside the 

appliance, behind the grease ilter.

If  the  extractor  hood  is  itted  with  a 

standard  connector  plug,  connect  this 

to an easily accessible standard socket.
