Note
: After adjusting the steering clutch, you must
confirm that it works properly and reliably.
Main Clutch Control Lever:
Check: The functions of engagement and
disengagement must be OK and reliable. In the state
of disengagement, make sure that the belt pulley
does not rotate with the belt. The auxiliary control
levers for the engagement / disengagement of the
clutch control lever must be able to work
Properly. The engagement / disengagement of the
main clutch must be reliable.
Disengagement of the main clutch: Press down the
auxiliary control lever for disengaging the clutch with
your right thumb, the main clutch control lever
should be put to the state of disengagement.
Engagement of the main clutch: Press down the
auxiliary control lever for engaging the clutch with
your right thumb, the main clutch control lever
should be put to the state of engagement.
Adjustment: In operations, adjust until the belt pulley
does not slip. Adjust the clearance with the flexible
wire adjuster of the main clutch. If the adjuster
cannot be further adjusted, move the engine forward
so that the main clutch control lever is put in the state
of engagement. The clearance between the belt and
the belt tension adjuster should be adjusted to 3-
6mm.
Intercultivator clutch control lever (to be used when
the intercultivator is installed).
Check: Check if the spring at the front end of the
flexible wire adjuster on the side of the intercultivator
is securely connected with the rocker arm on the
side of the intercultivator.
