noticeable scratches in the stainless steel, sand very
lightly with dry 100 grit emery paper in the direction of
the grain.
TOP BURNER GRATE:
The top burner grate is stainless steel. To avoid burns do
not clean a hot grate. They may be wiped while in place
with hot, soapy water, rinsed and wiped dry. Never
immerse a hot grate in water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
SPIDER AND INSECT WARNING!!!
Spiders and insects can nest in the burners of this or any
other grill, and cause the gas to flow from the front of the
burner. This is very dangerous condition which can cause
a fire to occur behind the valve panel, thereby damaging
the grill and making it unsafe to operate.
WHEN TO LOOK FOR SPIDERS
You should inspect the burners at least once a year or
immediately if any of the following conditions occur:
1.
The smell of gas in conjunction with the burner
flames appearing yellow.
2.
The grill does not reach temperature.
3.
The grill heats unevenly.
4.
The burners make popping noises.
BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE
If the grill does not function properly, use the following
checklist before contacting your dealer for service. You
may save the cost of a service call.

Is there adequate gas supply available? If it is only one burner that appears
low, does the orifice or burner need cleaning?
Is the gas supply, or gas pressure low?
Is the grill being preheated for 15 minutes?
