2.3 Serial Number and Bar Code Identification
Serial Number and Barcode Location
The engine serial number is located on the engine block immediately to the left of the oil drain plug.
The generator serial number is located on the aluminum shroud surrounding the alternator. Serial
numbers may be required when ordering parts.
The bar code label is found in three locations: on the generator front panel, on the packing carton,
and on the owner’s manual inside cover. The bar code identifies the production date and is used by
your dealer and the customer service center for warranty administration.
Please record this information below and keep this manual in a safe place along with the bill of sale.
