This section describes how to install the JACO’s drivers under Windows XP.
2.1.
Installation
Plug the robotic arm JACO in the computer via a USB cable. Turn the robotic arm on and the
OS will detect that there is a new device to be installed. You should see a window that
asks what to do. Select the installation with a specific location.
Browse to the [Drivers] folder from the software package then continue.
It is possible that the system warns you because it does not know where the driver
comes from. Don’t worry, it is normal, just continue the installation.
Installation is completed and you should see your new device in the device manager
that can be accessed via the control panel.
