I33LK/I36LK Front Face Attachment Installation
1. Remove the Top Filler piece from the Base unit by unfastening its three [3] screws. This part is not required for the
I33LK/I36LK model and therefore can be discarded. However, be sure to keep the screws for fastening the
I33LK/I36LK.
2. Install Vent Adapter plate. Please see Installation of Vent Pipe for reference.
3. Remove ON/OFF switch & wires from valve (make note of connections first). Set aside until LK Front is attached.
4. At this time, check the lower right corner of the front of the fireplace. If the rear portion is cut away(
fig.1
below), then
you are ready to proceed. If not(
fig.2
below), a 1/2” hole should be drilled with the center of the hole at about 3/4” up
from the bottom.
5. Install the I33LK/I36LK Front to the appliance by lowering it onto the side attachments, aligning the four [4] Mounting
Tabs and Slots together. Position the tabs into the slots and then lock it into place by lowering the I33LK/I36LK Front
onto the hook assembly.
6. Once the I33LK/I36LK is in place simply fasten it to the appliance with the three [3] screws taken out from the Top
Filler piece.
7. Route the ON/OFF switch & wires through the slot provided located at the lower right side of the LK Front, and
through the opening (or 1/2” hole you have drilled) in the appliance. Reconnect ON/OFF switch wires to valve. Insert
ON/OFF switch into LK Front and attach with a screw.
NOTE: The Louver Kit Front does not need to be removed to access the Glass Door and service the unit.
