Replace the cap ensuring the arrows are aligned and turn it clockwise 90° to lock into place (see picture 3).
IMPORTANT:
SOAK UP ANY SPILT RINSE AID WITH A DAMP ABSORBENT
CLOTH TO AVOID EXCESS FOAMING DURING THE NEXT WASH CYCLE.
Adjusting the Rinse Aid Setting
The rinse aid dispenser has six settings, and is factory set at 4. This will
be the correct setting in most cases.
However, if there are drops of water remaining on the dishes after
washing, the rinse aid use can be increased by turning the arrow head
anti-clockwise.
If there are white streaks on the dishes after washing, the rinse aid use
can be reduced by turning the arrow head clockwise.
To adjust the setting, first turn the rinse aid container cap anti-clockwise
90° and remove it. Adjust the arrow head with a small flat head
screwdriver and replace the cap by turning it clockwise 90° to lock.
04 Dishwasher Detergent
Choice of Detergent
Ensure you only use detergent in powder or tablet form suitable for dishwashers and always follow the
manufacturer’s guidelines on the amount to use. Occasionally, tablets may not fully dissolve and be
completely used on the shortest rapid wash cycle, so it is recommended that powder is used for this
program.

To open the detergent lid, move the lever upwards to the right and the lid will spring open. Once the correct
detergent has been placed in the container close the lid by pressing the lid onto the case until it clicks shut.
Always add the detergent just before starting each wash cycle.
If the dishes are heavily soiled and you are using powder detergent, place the powder in both compartments.
The main wash compartment is marked A and the pre-wash compartment is marked B (see diagram). Place
tablets in the main wash compartment only.
