3. Connect the trigger cable connector (A) Fig.12 to the electrical box connector
(B) on the motor as shown.
INSTALLING 12” COLD CUT SAW bLADE
NOTE: A 12” cold cut blade (model KM-1200) is not included with this saw.
Contact your nearest King Canada distributor for more information.
To install or change a cold cut blade:
1. Remove the blade guard cap screw (A) Fig.13 using a 4mm hex. key, and lift
the blade guard arm (B) up to move the guard (C) up and out of the way.
2. Loosen and remove the outer blade flange cap screw using a 10mm hex. key
as shown in Fig.14. Turn cap screw in the clockwise direction (left hand thread).
Remove the outer blade flange (A).
3. Install the blade on the inner blade flange, make sure the teeth of the blade
are pointing down. Line up the two mounting holes (A) Fig.15 in the blade with
the pins in the inner blade flange. Make sure the blade sits flush.
4. Reinstall the outer blade flange (B) Fig.15. Align the pins in the outer blade
flange with the remaining holes in the blade, secure the outer blade flange with
the cap screw (C). Tighten the cap screw (C) by turning it counterclockwise.
Do not overtighten.
5. Move the blade guard (C) Fig.13 back into position, and reinstall the blade
guard arm (B). Secure the blade guard arm with the same cap screw (A)
removed previously using a 4mm hex. key.
