ADJUSTING THE SWIVEL bASE continued...

5. Check to see if the angle indicator (A) Fig.24 is lined up with the 45° mark (B)

when the saw head is rotated all the way to both sides. 

6. If the angle indicators do not line up properly, loosen the round head allen screw

(C) with a 5mm hex. key, then adjust the stop plate (D) until the indicator is

lined up with the 45° mark. Repeat with the opposite side. 

ADJUSTING AND OPERATING THE VISE

1. Place a workpiece in the vise, and secure it by rotating the vise handwheel (A)

Fig.25 clockwise. Lock the workpiece in place using the quick-lock lever (B) by

pushing it to the left. 

2. To adjust the vise jaw, loosen the cap screw (A) Fig.26 with a 10mm hex. key,

and slide the jaw to the desired position (B). Retighten the cap screw. 

ADJUSTING THE SAW HEAD STOPS

If the downfeed handle is difficult to reach in the up position, or if it is too low, an

adjustment can be made.

1. To adjust the saw in the “UP” position: Loosen hex. nut (A) Fig.27 with a 19mm

wrench. Rotate the stop bolt (B) until the desired handle height is reached.

Retighten hex. nut (A). 

2. To adjust the saw in the “DOWN” position: Repeat Step 1 with the hex. nut (C)

and stop bolt (D) located at the front of the machine.
