Unpacking 

WARNING

: For your own safety, never connect the single drum sander to a power source until all assembly steps are complete, and you have

read and understood safety, adjustments and operational instructions.

To ensure maximum performance from your King Canada single drum sander, clean it properly; and install it accurately before use. Remove
contents from crate. You will find a small carton, inside are the machines adjustment tools and parts that need to be assembled.

Transportation

This machine must be lifted and positioned in the required work area onto the supplied stand, this should be done using a forklift or a lifting
hook. Make sure the equipment used to lift the sander (300 lb) is of adequate capacity.

1-Conveyor belt height crank handle. 

Turn this crank handle clock-

wise to raise the conveyor belt and counterclockwise to lower it.

2-4” Dust chute. 

It is necessary to always use this machine  with an

appropriate dust collection system connected to this dust chute.

3-Sanding drum “On/Off” switch. 

Turns the sanding drum motor

on/off. This swicth comes with a safety key which can be removed to
prevent unauthorized use.

4-Conveyor belt “On/Off” switch. 

Turn the conveyor motor on/off.

This swicth comes with a safety key which can be removed to
prevent unauthorized use.

5-Conveyor belt variable speed feed dial. 

Controls the rate of feed

of the conveyor belt (6-20 S.F.P.M.).

6-Conveyor belt motor.
7- Stand.
8-Conveyor belt. 

Feeds the workpiece under the sanding drum.

9-Conveyor belt thickness scale and indicator. 

Indicate the distance

which the conveyor belt is from the sanding drum.

10-5” Sanding drum.
11-Conveyor belt tension and tracking adjustment. 

When needed,

these adjustments screws can tension and track the conveyor belt.
