WARNING!
NEVER OPERATE THE AIR CLEANER WITHOUT THE INNER
AND OUTER FILTERS PROPERLY INSTALLED IN THE CABINET.
OPERATING THE CONTROL PANEL
The control panel (A) Fig.6 allows you to manually turn the air cleaner On or Off
and set the motor/fan speed.
With/Without Remote On Switch
: (B) Fig.6. Select manual operation or remote
control operation.
Thermal overload protector
: When the motor is overloaded the thermal over-
load (C) Fig.6 will trip and the motor will turn off. The air cleaner will need to cool
down before it can be restarted.
Speed adjustment
: The speed setting switch chain (D) Fig.6 turns the air
cleaner On, it also controls the three different motor/fan speed settings (low,
medium, high). Pull the speed setting switch chain repeatedly to cycle through
the speed settings and to turn the air cleaner Off.
LED On indicator
: (E) Fig.6. Turns on in remote control mode when air cleaner
is in use.
LED Filter Change indicator
: (F) Fig.6. This LED indicator will turn on after ap-
proximately 320 hours of operation, once the LED indicator turns on it is the rec-
ommended time to clean or change the filters.
OPERATING THE REMOTE CONTROL
NOTE: To operate the air cleaner with the remote control, the With/Without
Remote On Switch (B) Fig.6 on the air cleaner must be positioned to the
“With Remote” position, or the remove control will not work.
On/Timer button
: (A) Fig.7. Press the On button to turn the air cleaner On. To
cycle through the “continuous” mode or the 4 timer settings (2, 4, 6 or 8 hours),
press the On button again until one of the timer LED’s (B) lights up, then use
the up/down buttons (C & D) to select the desired setting.
Off button
: (E) Fig.7. Press the Off button to turn the air cleaner Off.
Speed adjusting buttons
: To cycle through the 3 speed settings (950, 1085,
1400 CFM), turn the air cleaner on, then press the On button again until one of
the speed LED’s (F) lights up, then use the up/down buttons (C & D) to select
the desired speed setting.
CHANGING FILTERS
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of injury, disconnect the air cleaner from the
power source before servicing or changing filters. Failure to comply may cause
serious injury!
The two filters included will eventually need to be cleaned or replaced. The outer
filter can easily be removed by lifting the bottom of the filter and pulling it out of
the air cleaner housing. The inner 3 pocket filter can now be pulled out of the air
cleaner housing in the same way. The filters should be replaced depending on
the amount of usage and the environment of your shop. Clogged filters will re-
duce the amount of air circulation. Replacement filters are availlable at your
nearest KING CANADA retailer.
