USE IN AFC (AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY CHANGE) MODE

digitizor will automatically switch on and commence transmitting each time you turn on
the car ignition.

Turn on your in-car audio system and go to the FM band.

Ensure your car radio's display is set to show FM station names.

Set your car radio AF function to 'on'.  If your radio has no AF function, please use
AutoScan mode - see page  18.

If your car radio has TA and/or TP functions set both to 'off'.

Tune the car radio’s FM frequency to FM 87.6 MHz and memorize this frequency on a
convenient preset button.  This button is your 'digitizor' preset.

Select DAB stations according to the instructions on page 20.

To listen to FM/AM stations, switch digitizor to standby by pressing the

q

 button once.

To return to DAB, press

q

again and select the 'digitizor' preset on your car radio.

CUSTOMISING THE FM TRANSMITTER FOR BEST PERFOMANCE IN AFC
MODE

digitizor is equipped with a unique, patented AFC (Automatic Frequency Change)
function.

When digitizor identifies the need to switch FM transmission frequency, digitizor's
patented AFC will tell the car radio to change FM frequency automatically and the car
radio display will show the new frequency in use.

There are two AFC settings, AFC_H (High Sensitive) & AFC_L (Low Sensitive).  The
default setting is AFC_L.

1.  If the FM frequency automatically changes too often, select AFC_L.
2.  If FM frequency does not automatically change soon enough, select  AFC_H.

To change the AFC sensitivity:

1.  Press

MENU

followed by

◄◄

 or

►►

until the display shows [FM MODE].

2.  Press

 followed by

◄◄

 or

►►

until the display shows [AFC_H] or [AFC_L].

3.  Press

 to confirm your choice.

For an on demand frequency change, press and hold the FM button for 3 seconds.  Your
FM radio display will show [AF Frequency] where 'Frequency' is the new frequency that
digitizor will use and your car radio will tune to that frequency automatically.  While a
new transmission frequency operation is in process and [AF Frequency] is displayed.

Depending on your car radio, it may be necessary to press

 to return the display to
