50L WET & DRY WORKSHOP VAC

Wet & Dry Workshop Vac User Instructions (cont.)
3b) Installation of the Filters - Cloth (20)

1.  Remove the motor head (4) from the vacuum tank (14) by releasing the tank retention clips (16) on

the side of the vacuum.

2.  Place the cloth filter (20) onto the upper top ring of vacuum tank (14) (fig 5a). Once placed

ensure that the filter is pressed onto the vacuum tank (14) so the motor head (4) can be installed
correctly.

3.  Once you have installed the cloth filter (20) into your vacuum ensure that you insert the cloth filter

cage (21) into the cloth filter (20) (fig 5b). The cloth filter cage (21) is designed to support the cloth
filter (20) from collapsing during use due to the suction power of the vacuum motor.

Once you have installed the cloth filter (20) and cloth filter cage (21) into the vacuum tank (14)
replace the motor head (4) back onto of the vacuum tank (14), then locate and secure the tank
retention clips (16) onto the motor head (4).

3c) Installation of the Filter - 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23)

1.  Remove the motor head (4) from the vacuum tank (14) by releasing the tank retention clips (16) on

the side of the vacuum.

2.  Place the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) over the safety float valve (19) (fig 5c). Once placed ensure

that the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) is pressed over the filter retaining rings located at the base
of the safety float valve cage (19) so the motor head (4) can be installed correctly (fig 5d).

3.  Once you have installed the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) replace the motor head (4) back onto of

the vacuum tank (14), then locate and secure the tank retention clips (16) onto the motor head (4).

Note: The cloth filter (20) can be used in conjunction with the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) at the same time to
provide additional filtration. Ensure that you clean the cloth filter (20) and 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) regularly for
optimal performance.
Once you have installed the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) as instructed above in section 3c.(1-3), then install the cloth
filter (20) as instructed in above in section 3b. (1-3).
Note: DO NOT install the cloth filter cage (21) as this will stop the motor head (4) with the 3 Micron Filter Cartridge
(23) installed from fully fitting into the cloth filter (20). This will stop the motor head (4) from seating correctly onto
the vacuum tank (14).

3d) Installation of the Filter - Foam (22)

1.  Remove the motor head (4) from the vacuum tank (14) by releasing the tank retention clips (16) on

the side of the vacuum.

2. Remove the cloth filter (20) and 3 Micron Filter Cartridge (23) if fitted.
3.  Slide the foam filter (22) over the safety float valve basket (19) (fig 5e) until the filter is located over

the filter retaining rings on the underside of the motor head (4) (fig 5f).

4.  Once you have installed the foam filter (22) replace the motor head (4) back onto of the vacuum

tank (14), then locate and secure the tank retention clips (16) onto the motor head (4).

Note: DO NOT use the foam filter (22) in conjunction with any other filter. The foam filter is designed for use when
vacuuming liquids only and does not have a high filtration rate for dust & debris. Using only the foam filter (22) for dry
vacuuming can allow dust and debris to enter the vacuum motor head (4) causing premeture failure of the vacuum.
Premature failure of the vacuum due to using the incorrect vacuum filter types is not covered under warranty.
