Addressing
Each module requires a numeric address between 128 and
252 for identification purposes. This is set using DIP switches
1-7. See the address table at the end of this document.
Status LED
The status LED is configured using DIP switch 8 in the DIP
switch selector:
•
If set to ON the LED will flash during all communications
between the module and the control panel.
•
If set to OFF it will flash only during selected
communications between the module and control panel
(see control panel manual for further details).
The status LED is lit constantly during alarm.
Maintenance and testing
Basic maintenance consists of a yearly inspection. Do not
modify internal wiring or circuitry.
To test the module:
1. Remove a detector head from its base or activate a
manual call point connected to the module detection zone.
2. If the status LED and control panel fail to indicate the test
all connections should be checked and the module
address verified.

Descripción
El módulo KAL710 se utiliza para conectar una zona
convencional a un bucle del sistema de incendios
direccionable.
El módulo puede utilizarse en los sistemas de detección sin
subdivisión de áreas o cuando no se necesiten los datos de
ubicación exactos.
Se puede utilizar un módulo para conectar hasta 20 detectores
convencionales y un número ilimitado de puntos de llamadas
manuales o contactos normalmente abiertos (NA) al sistema
de detección de incendios.
Instalación
Precaución:
Consulte el estándar EN54:14 y las normativas
locales para obtener información acerca de las directrices de
planificación, diseño, instalación, funcionamiento, utilización y
mantenimiento del sistema.
Instalación del módulo
Desconecte la fuente de alimentación del sistema de incendios
e instale el módulo en la carcasa protectora proporcionada.
Conecte el hilo apantallado del cable de bucle al tornillo de
tierra e instale una resistencia de fin de línea de 4,7 k
Ω al final
de la zona de detección.
Una fuente de alimentación auxiliar debe proporcionar
alimentación de 24 V al módulo.
