Names and Functions of Parts

This chapter describes the names and functions of switches, displays,

connectors, and other parts of the front panel and rear panel.

2.1

Front Panel

POWER switch

IN MEAS RANGE LED

ERROR LED

RF SIGNAL INPUT connector
(BNC)

CLOCK INPUT connector
(BNC)

Illuminates when
measurement can be made and
the measured value is less than
or equal to 20 %. This LED
illuminates for approximately
1 s for self-testing at power-
up.

Error detection LED. This LED
illuminates when an error
occurs such as when the RF
signal is not connected, when
the signal amplitude is
insufficient, or when the clock
frequency is not correct. This
LED illuminates for
approximately 1 s for self-
testing at power-up. If an error
is detected during the self-test,
the LED changes to blinking.
In addition, the LED
illuminates for a certain period
when a communication error
occurs on the RS-232C
interface.

Switch used to turn on/off the
power. When the power is on,
the LED at the top section of
the switch illuminates.

RF signal input.
The input impedance is
approximately 50
