Using the RAM 3500 Dually
Important!
Before using the 3500 Dually for the first time the battery needs to be charged for at least
20-
24 hours
. Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings (see Assembly) should handle,
recharge of the battery. Read the Assembly and Maintenance sections before use of the vehicle.
Operating the 3500 Dually
1. Steering wheel:
Use to steer the
truck right or left. Hold onto the
steering wheel at all times.

Press left steering wheel button for
horn sound effect.
b.
Press right steering wheel button
for engine rev sound effect.
2.
Power Switch:
Turns the vehicle
on and off.
3.
Mute Button:
Push this button to
mute the KidTrax Power Sounds
TM
engine simulation sound effects.
4. Battery Power Indicator:
When
pressed, the three lights next to the
Battery Power button Indicate the
battery power level.
5. Rear View Mirrors:
Adjustable
mirrors for viewing behind the truck.
6. Foot Pedal:
Applies power (speed)
to the vehicle. To slow down or stop,
lift your foot off the pedal. The rollbar
lights will turn on when the foot
pedal is pressed.
7. Shift Handle:
Changes the
direction the vehicle moves from
forward to reverse. You may
remove the small screw at the
base of the shift handle for higher
speeds. Press and hold the lever
in the down position for reverse.
8.
Dump bed Tilt:
Tilt the dump
bed up by pulling back by the
two handles on the roll bar.
To lower dump bed push bed down
quickly to lock the
spring loaded
cam in the down position.
9. Tailgate:
To open,
lift up and back.
To close tail gate, firmly push tail gate
up and forward.
IMPORTANT!
To avoid the risk of stripping gears, the
rider must come to a complete stop before shifting from
forward to reverse.
