Step 3: Attach Soffits
It is important to note hole orientations for the following steps.
A:
Flush to the inside face of the Left Side Wall, centre 1 (031) Soffit and attach with 4 (S20) #8 x 1-3/8” Wood
Screws. Notice the 2 unused holes on the outside as shown in fig. 3.1 and 3.2.
B:
On the Front Wall and Back wall, tight to the (031) Soffit and flush to the inside face of each wall attach 1
(032) Soffit Long to each wall using 6 (S20) #8 x 1-3/8” Wood Screws. Note hole orientations (Fig. 3.1 and 3.2)
C:
Tight to the (032) Soffit Longs and flush to the inside face of each wall attach 1 (033) Soffit Short per wall
using 3 (S11) #8 x 1-3/8” Wood Screws.
D:
Flush to the inside face of the Right Side Wall panel between the (033) Soffit Shorts attach 1 (034) Soffit
Wide using 4 (S20) #8 x 1-3/8” Wood Screws.
E:
There should be an overhang of 1” from the Wall Panel to the outside of the soffit on Front and Back Panels.
