Step 17: Gable End Assembly
Part 2
D: From the peak of the gable assembly measure approximately 3” (80.37mm) down and attach 1 (2843) Gable
Board C using 4 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws as shown in (fig. 17.3 and 17.4). There should be maintaining a 1”
(25.40mm) space between the sides of Gable Board C and the edge of the Gable Assembly. (fig. 17.3 and 17.4)
E: Place (2841 and 2842) Gable Boards A and B on each side of the Gable assembly as shown in (fig. 17.3),
again making sure that there is a space of 1” (25.40mm) between the boards and the edge of the gable and attach
using 4 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” per board. (fig. 17.3 and 17.4)
F: Repeat steps D and E to complete the remaining 3 Gable Assemblies.
