Description and
purpose
This module EEPROM memory is used to identify the module, It is Used to store,
Model Number, Serial number, Calibration data, Calibration Date, and User saved states
Size
16 kBytes (located in the module)
Memory clearing
Memory clearing processes, in mainframes N6700B, N6701A, N6702A, N6705B
The only two items of directly user modifiable information are
the calibration date, and any user saved states.
To Clear the user saved states for all channels in the mainframe:
When using the module in a N6705B mainframe
A.
To clear mainframe nonvolatile RAM, and module saved states,
1)
Turn on the mainframe.

Enter the Admin menu by Pressing:

The Menu key
4)
Select Utilities, Administrative Tools, enter
5)
Select Administrator Login/Logout, enter
6)
Select nonvolatile RAM Reset, enter
7)
Select Reset, enter
Note: pressing enter clears all Non- Volatile memory to factory defaults, and
the internal drive will be cleared.
8)
Wait for unit to prompt you to cycle power.
9)
After you cycle power the saved states for all modules in the mainframe will be
reset to default values.
NV Ram is now cleared.

To clear module calibration date field for each module.

Turn on the mainframe.

Select the appropriate power supply module.

Calibration Date is now cleared
