Installation Procedure for the Upgrade
Step 1. Remove the Top Shield, Gasket, and Old Polyiron
1. Place the noise figure board assembly so that the top shield is facing up

). Refer to Figure 1 on page 8 .
2. Remove the twenty screws 0515-0665 (item
➆
) from the top shield.
Inspect the screws and discard any that are damaged or unusable and
replace with the spare 0515-0665 screws.
3. Remove the old top shield (item
➀
) from the noise board (item
➂
) and
bottom shield (item
➁
) assembly. Refer to Figure 1 on page 8 .
4. Remove the gasket from the old top shield (seven places) (items [G1] to
[G7]) using a mini/precision flathead screw driver. Save gasket for reuse.
Refer to
Figure 2 on page 9 and Figure 3 on page 9 .
When removing the gasket, be careful not to damage the gasket material.
