Keysight M9241/42/43A PXIe Oscilloscopes and M9240A AutoProbe Power Module Startup Guide
4
Install the Modules
5
Before inserting a module into the chassis, back the mounting screws out to
ensure that there is no interference between the screws and the mounting rails.
6
Holding the module by the injector/ejector handle, slide it into an available PXI
(or hybrid) slot, as shown in the following figure.
CAUTION
The M924xA PXIe oscilloscope can use peer-to-peer (module-to-module) triggering
across the PXI Express chassis backplane. Therefore, be sure to install the M924xA
modules into a chassis that supports peer-to-peer PXI Express I/O switch topology.
When using the Keysight M9018A PXIe 18-Slot Chassis, install the M924xA modules
into one of its three slot groups: 1 through 6, 7 through 12, or 13 through 18. For more
information on coordinating multiple M924xA PXIe oscilloscope modules, see
, “Coordinating Multiple PXIe Oscilloscope Modules,” starting on page 45.
If you are using a non-Keysight chassis, consult your manufacturer's documentation.
NOTE
When using the Keysight M9018A Chassis you will achieve the highest data throughput for the
Keysight M9241/42/43A PXIe oscilloscopes by using Slots 2, 6, 11 or 15. They are "x8" slots
and the others are "x4". For further details see the
. If you are using a non-Keysight chassis, consult your manufacturer's
documentation.
