Operation and Performance Verification

Keysight E8718A Radar Target Simulator User Guide

Follow the steps below to operate the laser:

Ensure E8718A is powered up. Press the Laser ON/OFF push button to switch

on the laser.

Adjust the position of Automotive Radar Sensor (unit under test) so that the

red dot emitted from the laser is pointing at it.

Once the alignment is complete, switch off the laser by pressing the Laser ON/

OFF push button again.
