Lab #13: Triggering on a Qualified Burst using “Edge then Edge”
Trigger
In this lab you will learn how to use the scope’s “Edge then Edge” trigger mode.
This trigger mode is sometimes referred to as “qualified A then B” triggering.
“Edge then Edge” triggering allows you to qualify triggering on an edge of any
channel, then delay arming of the final trigger condition by both time and event
count of an edge of any channel.

Connect the channel-1 probe to the Demo 1 terminal and ground.

Connect the channel-2 probe to the Demo 2 terminal and ground.

Press
[Default Setup]
on the scope’s front panel.

Press
[Help]
; then press the
Training Signals
softkey.

Select the
Edge then Edge
signal.

Set channel-1 to
1.0 V/div
; set the channel-1 offset to
-1.0 V

Press the
[2]
front panel key to turn on channel-2.

Set channel-2 to
