System Setup
The Z5623A Option H01 Test Set is designed to be placed near the network analyzer on a
bench top and connected as shown in
Figure 7
.
1. Connect a GPIB cable from the controller to the rear panel of the network analyzer. See
2. After the proper front and rear panel connections have been made, turn on the test set using
the front panel line switch. The front panel line switch disconnects the mains circuits from
the mains supply after the EMI filters and before other parts of the instrument.
For accurate repeatable measurements, be sure to let the test set warm up for at
least two hours. For the most stable and accurate measurements, leave the test
set turned on at all times. Do not touch the power sensor for at least 30 minutes
before making measurements.
