5. When not in use

Keep the battery cool
•
Disconnect the negative terminal.
•
Check the battery level regularly and charge if necessary
•
When charging, first connect the positive terminal to the positive output or terminal on
donor battery. Then connect the negative output or donor battery terminal to a bare spot
on the needy machine.
