or continuous charging of several batteries, one after the other.
As soon as the charger has cooled down to a normal operating tem-
perature it switches on again automatically.
For cooling down the charger disconnect the plug from the power sup-
ply.
2. In case the battery block becomes heated (sunlight o.s.) the control
light of the charger does not necessarily light up. If this happens first
let the battery block cool down and then start charging. If the control
light still does not light up there might be a foreign body in the battery
compartment which has to be removed. If this is not the case you can
consider a malfunction of the charger or the battery block; have these
parts checked by an authorised service centre.
2.3 Control display at the charger

• At the end of charging
green control light lights up
• Charging is impossible

2.4 Maintenance
1. Control regularly all fixing screws of the charger whether they are
tightened firmly. Loosened screws must be tightened immediately. Any
neglect in this behalf can be extremely dangerous.
Only clean the outside of the charger with a soft and dry cloth . A cloth
slightly dampened with soapy water can be used as well if there is no
fuel or solvent on it, since they could affect and damage the plastic
casing.
3. When not in use store away the charger in a clean and dry place,
in any case out of the reach of children.
THESE SAFETY NOTES MUST BE COMPLIED WITH IN ALL CASES.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A SAFETY PLUG ALWAYS BE USED WHEN
WORKING WITH ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
3. Proper use- battery block
3.1 Notes to recharge the battery block
• Before inserting or removing the battery block switch off the cordless
shearing machine.
• For removing the battery block push away the metal clamp at the
bottom of the shearing machine and pull the battery block out of the
machine
(see ill. 01 and 02).
