5.4 Overload and total discharge protection
If the machine switches off automatically during operation this may be
due to one of the following causes:
• the clipper blades have been tightened too hard at the clipper head.
• the shearing machine is being pressed too hard on the animal.
• the blades and the clipper head have not been oiled enough.
• the clipper head is jammed.
• the battery is flat.
After finding and rectifying the cause the machine can be used again
as usual by switching it on or off.
5.5 Correct positioning, shearing machine/animal
The lower blade has an angle of 10 degrees from the plane underside
to the tooth peak. When clipping you have to make sure that this angle
comes to touch the coat, that means that the afterbody of the shearing
machine has to be lifted slightly. Now move the shearing machine
without any additional pressure on the clipper blades through the coat
of the animal. Always shear against the grain of the coat if this is
possible
