information on proper usage of round slings and lifting straps. Please read all the instructions prior to initial use!
1. General notes on usage:
Lifting straps and round slings may only be used for lifting and transportation of loads. Usage is restricted exclusively to trained and autho-

Please ensure that the round slings and lifting straps
• are never loaded in excess of their rating.
• are not knotted or twisted when carrying a load.
• are not damaged, overloaded or worn (e.g. cuts).
• are not used in a basket hitch.
• are not, during lifting, repeatedly slung over each other to shorten the round sling / lifting strap.
• carry the load across their entire width.
• do not, with their legs, exceed an angle of 60 %.

edge protection.
The lifting straps and round slings can be used in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +100 °C (PES and PA) or up to +80 °C (PP).

acids, basic solutions or other aggressive substances must be rinsed and cleaned with water before storage and re-use.
2. Storage:
After use, the round slings / lifting straps must be inspected for possible damage and dirt every time and, if necessary, this must be remedied
before storage. Ensure that the environment is clean, dry and well- ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight and chemical exposure.
3. Cleaning:
Clean only with clean water and allow to dry in open air or in ventilated rooms.
4. Testing and removal from service:
• Round slings / lifting straps must be checked for obvious defects prior to and during each applicati- on. Remove the round slings / lifting
straps from service if you detect defects which compromise safety. At least once a year, have the round slings / lifting straps tested by an
expert.
• Should the label be missing or the manufacturer be unknown or in case of damage by heat, round slings / lifting straps must be removed
from service.
• Lifting straps must not be used if they have cuts or more than 10 % broken threads, or if the loop is damaged.
• Round slings must be removed from service if their load-bearing core or the seam are damaged.
