Let's recording

1. Load a cassette tape.

Open the cassette holder.

Insert a tape and close the

cassette holder

Be sure to remove tape slack.

Be sure to close the cassette holder completely.

The normal (TYPE

) or High (TYPE

) tape types are detected and set auto-

matically.

Use a cassette tape with which the protect tab for accidental erasure pre-
vention is not broken.

2. Select the source to be recorded.

To record sound from a CD, use the dedicated
recording function by referring to "CD synchro-
nized recording" (

) or "Convenient record-

ing methods" (

The present procedure described the most

3. Select the tape transport direction.

When recording is started, the tape is transported in the direction selected in this
step.

Wind the tape to the position where recording is to be started.

To reverse the tape transport direction

Select "TAPE" with the CURSOR key.

Press the SET key.

Press the DIRECTION key to switch the
tape transport direction.
